Think again, the time is upon us as Amelia has joined SEB bank, in Sweden to provide Tech support for some 15,000 of SEB’s staff. Now she ‘s done her apprenticeship she is about to take on a customer service role providing customer service support for SEB’s one million customers.
British papers have ran stories about Enfield Council in London hiring Amelia, the virtual assistant, to help them with customer service as they face budget cut backs of 56 million pounds over the next four years. The Council has already made some 350 employees redundant in the past year and it has been said that Amelia is some sixty percent cheaper than using a human worker.
